About Singletto
Singletto is commercializing Oxafence®, an antimicrobial and antibiotic technology poised to revolutionize medical devices, healthcare PPE, and military and consumer products. Our technology helps protect against deadly infection and improve health. Singletto collaborates with and licenses Oxafence to the companies who make the products.
We are the team behind the ProGear+Oxafence ASTM Level 3 mask, our first U.S. product and the only FDA-cleared surgical mask in the U.S. with virus-killing claims. Singletto has conducted research and/or is developing other products with Oxafence, including medical scrubs, other PPE, military protection from weaponizable threats, advanced wound care, and more. Oxafence’s novel technology is based upon Antimicrobial Photodynamic Inactivation (aPDI), which inactivates and kills a wide variety of viruses, bacteria, and other pathogens.
The Role
We’re hiring a Director of Communications & Growth Enablement to lead development of high-impact materials that support Singletto’s growth through scientific, commercial, and partnership efforts.
This is a strategic and hands-on role responsible for transforming complex science into clear, credible messaging that resonates with technical experts, investors, customers, and collaborators. You’ll partner closely with company leaders, partners, and government agencies to develop and advance proposals, website content, sales materials, whitepapers, and investor communications. You’ll help lead and drive Singletto’s brand and marketing strategies.
If you can navigate deep scientific concepts and shape them into compelling stories, and you want to help us successfully introduce the Oxafence brand and experience to the U.S. and other markets, we’d love to talk.
What You'll Do
Lead development and refinement of Singletto’s web content and digital presence.
Create whitepapers, technical briefs, and scientific messaging for both established and emerging Singletto products.
Translate R&D outputs into persuasive documents that resonate across technical and commercial stakeholders.
Refine and maintain Singletto’s brand voice, ensuring consistency across all channels.
Lead development of proposals for institutional partnerships, government funding (e.g. DOD, DARPA, ARPA-H, NIH, SBIRs, etc.), and clinical research collaborations.
Coordinate key messaging elements across teams and ensure alignment with company goals and regulatory requirements.
Build and manage a library of core proposal components and scientific content.
Develop targeted collateral (e.g., decks, one-pagers, solution briefs, etc.) supporting business and product development efforts.
Develop scientifically accurate, benefit-driven messaging to support go-to-market efforts across product lines.
Draft newsletters, advocacy updates, and content for investors, advisors, and external champions.
Support high-impact meetings and presentations with content and messaging strategy.
What You Bring
Must-Have
5+ years’ experience in scientific communications, proposal strategy, or technical writing in medtech, healthtech, or life sciences.
Strong scientific fluency and ability to learn new life science platforms quickly (e.g. photodynamic therapy, infection control, etc).
Demonstrated excellence in creating white papers, pitch materials, and grant proposals.
Comfort working closely with executives, researchers, and business development leads.
Experience with brand strategy & development and marketing; experience to lead but open-mindedness to adjust messaging based upon market feedback.
Exceptional writing and synthesis skills across formats and audiences.
Strong organizational skills, self-directed, flexible and able to adjust to new priorities, customer-oriented, and open to feedback.
Nice-to-Have
Graduate degree (MS, PhD) in biomedical sciences, engineering, or public health.
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, public health, clinical procurement, or research funding mechanisms.
Experience with antimicrobial technologies, infection control, or light/energy-based therapies.
Prior work supporting early-stage ventures or cross-functional scientific teams.
Why Join Singletto?
Be part of introducing OxafenceTM as the next iconic technology brand – like Gore-Tex or Kleenex.
Shape the messaging that helps save and improve lives, tackle the antimicrobial resistance crisis, protect military personnel, and offer better antimicrobial alternatives for the planet.
Collaborate closely with executive leadership in a fast-moving, high-impact environment.
