Michelle’s career began in the fields of Skagit Valley, WA, tending to spinach and selling tulips. Growing-up in a small farming community between the mountains and the sea is what taught her the value of pragmatism, and to think big while caring for the details.
Michelle’s 20 years of experience includes executive leadership, business development, portfolio and account management, vendor and client partnerships, and building strong organizational cultures, teams, and operations. She is known for her values-based leadership, sound strategic counsel, and deep commitment to caring for people and relationships.
Michelle previously served as Chief People Officer for Mud Bay, a retailer of pet food and supplies in the Pacific Northwest. Prior to that, she was the Chief Communications and Culture Officer and an account leader at Point B, a management consulting firm recognized nationally as a best place to work. Michelle graduated from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Economics and concentration in Management, is formally trained in Polarity Thinking™, and holds a Senior Certified Professional credential with the Society for Human Resource Management.
Now at Singletto, Michelle leads partnership strategy and relationship management, while also developing organizational efficiencies and strategic initiatives.
