Lacey’s 15+ years of experience has centered around anticipating consumer needs, looking around corners, building consumer and stakeholder relationships, and creating and implementing go-to-market strategies.
Upon earning her B.A., with Phi Beta Kappa honors, and M.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication, with degree emphasis on advertising and strategic communications, Lacey began working for an advertising/communications firm. Then, as EVP of Account Management, Lacey led research and strategy; managed client, consumer and stakeholder relationships; improved profitability and operational strategies; led teams of full-time and contract employees; and, strategized, implemented, and managed clients’ brands, consumer experiences, and marketing efforts both locally and nationally, within niche and mass markets, and via traditional and new media.
In business strategy and personal life, Lacey believes quality relationships are key. Whether with clients, consumers, employees, or friends, Lacey enjoys learning what makes people tick – what motivates them, inspires them, drives them. No brand, no product, and no relationship can truly succeed without knowing who you are talking to, what they need, and what matters to them.
Lacey serves on the Board of Directors of Mosaic Family Services, Dallas’ leading safe haven for survivors of human rights abuses, and is the acting Fund Development and Marketing Chairperson.
